The Sandy River Showdown
Come check out Bullet at Oregon’s newest paddle-oriented adventure race, the Sandy River Showdown, April 30-May 1, 2011. Bullet will have a couple Bullet 12 and Bullet 12 SL boats for paddlers to race down the upper Sandy River! This is a new event near Portland, Oregon organized by members of the local paddling community- a great way to enjoy a fun stretch of river and have a chance at winning a GoPro Video Camera or a new Jackson Kayak!
The Bullet IK: Coming in 2012
Bullet has evolved through the years always with the aim of producing a better boat. A typical design cycle involves: 1.) finalizing a design 2.) building prototypes to the design spec 3.) testing the design and 4.) incorporating testing feedback into the next version. Bullet innovations like the CPS thwart-attachment system, handle and d-ring placement, fatter diminished-tube geometry, and a streamlined made-to-order system are little steps in search of making a better boat custom-suited to paddlers.

Bullet Watercraft Rafts on the South Fork American River
Just a quick photo to share of two of our ultra-wide and stable, Bullet 12s. The Bullet 12 is the widest commercially available 12′ boat on the market. This makes it great for family-fun stability, steep creekin’ (see some of our Bullet 12 trip reports), and commercial outfitters looking to run heavy loads in smaller boats.
