Revolutionizing Thwart Attachments with Bullet CPS Thwarts

The New Bullet CPS Thwarts

The New Bullet CPS Thwarts

Since the early 70′s, thwarts have been a weak point in boat design. With Bullet’s new CPS system, we focused on simplicity, smoothness, and speed. Also, we removed the need for any metal pins, bolts, keyrings, or cams, inside the boat. We wanted the thwart attachment system to be built from materials native to the boat’s construction, and minimize abrasion and abuse to paddlers’ shins. The pin is secured with a belt as it runs through piano-hinged joints on the thwart and tube. A beveled pin, means it feeds through the joints quickly and easily. We’re excited to share our CPS system with the public, even offering upgrade patches to people with inferior thwart attachment systems. These are available in kits that will bond well to PVC, Urethane, and Hypalon boats.
