The Bullet Babes sent in this photo from the Trinity River. They took their Bullet 14 to the Class III+/IV- Trinity to enjoy what one review calls “the third best intermediate run in California”. Continue reading …
One of California’s classic creeks, Pauley Creek is a not to be missed spring run. We had about 450 cfs, and ended up putting in about a mile upstream of the normal put-in. Driving up to Pauley Creek from Downieville, you reach a small parking area at the second divide trail. Continue reading …
On a day when California’s Slab Creek dam was spilling about 1400 cfs, we headed to the put-in, about 30 minutes from Placerville, CA. Flows were ideal, and the rapids were fun and non-stop, pretty much continuous excitement from put-in to take-out. Continue reading …
The Bullet Babes sent in a couple photos from the South Fork American run, near Coloma, CA. The South Fork American is a great entry-level Class III run with plenty of rapids to challenge the beginning and intermediate whitewater rafter. Continue reading …
We returned to Southern Washington’s East Fork of the Lewis river at about 1500 cfs for a great class IV section with a couple excellent waterfalls. The sun had come out Continue reading …

The run is about 30-45 minutes from Portland, OR and logistics are pretty easy. We had 1500 cfs which made the section pretty continuous. R1′ing a Bullet 12 was good exercise, but not a huge workout thanks to the flow. Continue reading …
We headed up to the East Fork of the Lewis River on Sunday to check out Sunset Falls. A pretty simple put-in about 1.5 miles upstream let us put 2 Bullet 12′s and a kayak on the river. This is a spring-time rain-fed run with a great waterfall drop, about 1 to 1.5 hours from Portland. The closest town is Battle Ground, Washington.
The flow was about 750 cfs, and I was personally surprised at how easily Continue reading …
Since Bullet is based in Portland, Oregon, we decided our to take our Bullet 12 Rock Star on its inaugural run down the White Salmon river- about an hour’s drive from downtown Portland. To get there from Portland, drive to Hood River, cross the Columbia River by bridge, and then drive up the White Salmon River past Continue reading …
