Bullet’s Warranty

Bullet’s goal, plain and simple, is to build high quality boats for professionals and enthusiasts.  Bullet Watercraft LLC warrants all watercraft to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of 6 years from date of purchase.

Our warranty does not cover damage caused by wear and tear, cosmetic damage, abnormal abuse, neglect and/or inappropriate handling or storage.  Treat your Bullet well, and it will serve you for years.  Drag a rolled up boat across pavement and you’ll put a hole in it faster than you can say “I need some extra material and a can of Stabond”.

Bullet Watercraft LLC pledges to replace or repair any defects that appear during this period.  This warranty is limited to the original purchaser only.

The Warranty Process

Before you return any product, you must contact Bullet Watercraft LLC by phone or email to obtain a return authorization.

Arrange and pay for transportation to Bullet Watercraft LLC or an authorized repair center.

Ensure that your boat

  • is washed, clean, and dry before shipping
  • any personal equipment has been removed from the boat
  • include your name, address, phone number, and a short description of what the warranty issue is

Note:  Damage due to wear and tear, misuse, neglect, or commercial operation is not covered under warranty.  Commercial operators should contact us for extended warranties that cover commercial use.



Warranty work at Bullet Watercraft LLC incurs the high cost involved in shipping a boat to us.  Bullet must approve all warranty work, and will work with you to:

  • teach and provide materials to you so that you can repair the boat yourself
  • find a repair location in your area that can do the warranty work with the materials we send you

Bullet aims to keep its boats affordable by working with its customers to have maintenance and repair work done locally; thereby avoiding the significant costs involved in shipping boats.


Warranty Examples

If you are climbing into your boat and pull on the perimeter line causing a D-Ring to pop, we will send you a new, matching D-Ring to replace the one that shouldn’t have broken- along with an apology!  Similarly, if you break our Chambered Pin System thwart attachments or a handle in the course of regular use, we’ll get you a replacement at our cost.

If you wrap a gear boat on rock and pop 4 D-rings and a handle trying to pull it off with a Z-drag, we start getting into the question of whether this was regular use, but we will still send you replacement D-Rings and handles because we value our customers.  We’ve been there:  you didn’t mean to wrap your boat, you just want to fix it, get back on the water, and move on.

If you destroy your boat through the course of this Z-drag operation, we won’t send you a new boat.  Getting you patch material, handles, and D-Rings is easy for us- we’d be happy to warranty this type of work.  Major repairs often imply warranty-voiding exceptional circumstances.
